Steven Dean Singleton of Ocean View, Hawaii gained his wings on December 27, 2023 at the age of 58. He is now swimming in the most beautiful waters in heaven. Steve was born June 23, 1965 in Encino, CA. After a 2 ½ year long battle with cancer, Steve passed peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife by his side. He was a very loving, caring and compassionate man who was loved by everyone who knew him. His life long dream of moving back to Hawaii became a reality four years ago and his greatest passion was being in the ocean. He loved the beach, fishing and being active outdoors. He was an exceptionally talented artist who learned how to do ceramics in his youth. For a time he owned a metal fabricating business and he was masterful at his craft. In the past 10 years, he created wood and resin pieces that were sold through a business he co-owned with his wife. Steve had a great love for all animals and had an amazing artistry with plants.

He is survived by his wife Maria, his children Lien, Kassi, Mia and Olivia, grand-children Chase and Layla, his brother Michael, his mother Alma, step-dad, Victor, sister-in-laws Corrine and Lori as well as many other loved ones. There will be a Celebration of Life in Kailua-Kona, HI on Saturday, February 17 at Old Airport Beach. Separately there will be a Celebration of Life held in Modesto, California on March 2.
