Kathleen Brenda Dorothy Honey (Kathy) Obituary
Kathleen Brenda Dorothy Honey (Dann), 69, died August 19 in her home in Waikoloa Village. Born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, she was a graduate of Douglas College School of Nursing and spent many years looking after patients on the Big Island before her retirement. Predeceased by parents Allan and Brenda Dann (long-time owners of Dann's Electronics in Cloverdale, BC) and brother John Dann. Kathy is survived by husband of 47 years Allan, brother Bruce, sister Brenda, son Dennis, son Ben (Leah), and granddaughters Hannah (4) and Naomi (1). Services to honor and celebrate the life of Kathleen Brenda Dorothy Honey will be held 4 pm on September 4th, at Kahilu Town Hall in Waimea, located at 67-1182 Lindsey Rd. Kathy requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to North Hawaii Hospice.
