Born May 4, 1954, in Kealakekua, he was a certified motorcycle mechanic at Harley-Davidson a member of the Hauoli Hoaloha Motorcycle Club and a National Guardsman. He is survived by his wife, Emily Ascino, sons, Ray (Juliana) Estrella, Greg Kalani Ascino, Jr., Keoni Ascino, Keola Ascino, all of Kalaoa, and Gregory (Yvee) Ascino of Waipahu, Oahu; daughters, Jaelynn (Edward) Ku, Dustie'Lee (Bobby) Ascino, of Kalaoa and Tania (Noel) Opamin of Kamuela; mother, Connie Caldwell; brothers, Petruno (Flora) Ascino Jr., Gary (Tammy) Ascino, Michael (Irene) Ascino and Kevin Ascino; sisters, Erlinda Smith, Audrey (Ivan) Ascino, Connie Geer and Julie Ascino; aunty, Irene Uemura; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
